More architectural detail from Cardiff Castle. I love seeing how the Victorians paid attention to detail that other eras have ignored; I think their style is probably the "busiest". Today we value sleek lines and overall effect, while the Victorians paid attention to the casting of ironwork that would never be seen by most people! It's an interesting difference and I think I'm probably quite Victorian in this aspect
