The Sun"But Daddy, we aren't tired," the youngest Pendulum daughter whined as she followed her father and her two siblings. She let out a tiny yawn and tried to hide it. Pendulum Tin smiled warmly. "Yes, you are," he said.
Minuit pouted and her older sister scoffed at her. She sequentially stuck out her tongue at her eldest sibling. "Daddy," she whined. "Minnie's making faces at me!"
Tin sighed and set them each on their beds. "If your mother hears you, we are all going to get it." He gently tucked each child into their blankets.
"Story?" the youngest, Tin's son, asked. Tin sat at the foot of his bed. "Sure," he responded. The children faced him, eyes wide with wonder. Some were their mother's, some were his. "Have I ever told you the story of the original Sun Sorceress?"
