Thank you for the lovely comment (^v^) I did a short diploma course in Patisserie and was introduced to cake decorating there. But it was a very "bare-essentials" course and they only actually showed us how to wrap fondant icing around the cake. I actually thought cake decorating was the worst part of dessert making since I always had bad experiences with eating wildly decorated cakes.

Then my brother's birthday came along and I decided to use my favourite cake recipe to make it and then decorated it with Kon from Bleach and found that I actually really enjoyed sculpting and making figurines! It's a bit challenging because I'm self taught and have to figure things out for myself. But it's so rewarding when you see how excited people get to see something they love on a cake!
