Is the scientific term "lophoraptor" from Greek "lopho-" and Latin "raptor"? Because if it is, I'm curious as to your reasoning in calling your dragons "hill thieves". I love your art work by the way.

"lophos" means in this case "crest", and when you google species like Daulophoraptor or Ascialophoraptor you will know why ;)

Ah... I see.


So, are these animals for the most part capable of bipedal locomotion without reduction of their wings as Daulophoraptor is depicted, or are they obligate quadrupeds, like mammalian bats?
