"Quick, take a photo before it sees us"
Spinolurus australis is known for it's very nucturnal livestyle but only a few had so far the luck to watch these wonderful creatures during ther prefered daytime. In the heat of the day the animals normally sleep in small caves or self-dug burrows. They are the biggest animals of the australian continent and a relict of the Diprodon megafauna. Spinolurus is a herbivore which obtain much of it's water over the plants and small animals it feet, a adaption which was maybe the reason for its survival after the climate change 45000 years ago.
