Last night, she was to take a goods train from Vicarstown, but got scared away after seeing something in the fog. The Fat Controller came to see her at the sheds, his words for her was stern and blunt.          “That goods train was meant to be delivered by midnight; I can’t have engines not doing as they are told. You will stay in the shed, until I can trust you not to leave behind trains.”          “Yes, sir” sighed Rebecca. GAMBLE   Inspiration from TUGS’s Ghosts by David Mitton          A fog had come to the Island of Sodor, and this one seemed thicker than others. The Engines of the Fat Controller’s Railway hated fog, it made their boilers cold and they couldn’t see a thing. It didn’t help that the fog came during autumn time; a season known for ghostly tales and superstitions, so this put a lot of engines on edge.          It was a cold eerie night at Crovan’s Gate and Rebecca was finishing up her last passenger train, but fog and a faulty signal had caused a delay on the Other Railway. So, Rebecca had to wait at Crovan’s Gate for the mainland train to clear the signal.          “That’s just typical of the Other Railway” muttered her driver, and Rebecca was inclined to agree.
