Fantastic job! You really captured the essence of an era.

I just had to use this pic for a short story post on my blog. I'm doing a new series of posts centered on a Private Detective named Dan Swagger staged in the 1920's.

Here is the link to the post: [link]

Of course I gave you credit and linked back to your site and the original.

If you get a chance, I'd love to get your feedback on the story.

This looks wonderful! I actually drew this during my senior year in high school for an art project. I had no clue it was on DeviantArt! I love it!

Both of the flapper pictures are great! I really love the profile view, though. The way she's holding the cigarette is just perfect! And I love her expression...

While the overall image is technically very sound and the clarity is good, I feel that the expression of the model could be worked upon. Here, she looks a little... Well to be honest it's hard to determine quite how she feels. A little more of a sultry look would give this piece a great sense of atmosphere that would fit well with the style.

Sultry means slighty seductive. Sort of sexy without being over the top and horrible. It allows the model to look and feel sexy but doesn't make them look dirty.

In short what I think of this photograph :sprint:

Exposure : good.
Colors : dramatic and vintage
Focus : fine
Composition : good but can improve
Subject interest : Nice model with lovely eyes. I like ur focus. Its very sharp and correct.
Things to improve : Maybe the possition of the hand. The fingers are not quite clearly visible.

This comment is solely on my viewpoint of this photo so if you wish to correct me kindly do so. Kindly note that Im not trying to judge your work in any manner  Even some points I mentioned above can be negative I decide to comment since its an interesting piece at the first place. I hope I helped u in some way. :handshake:
