Description
Day 10 of the character bonanza. [link] Draco Malfoy
It was hot and humid today, and I was hoping for some storms...we didn't get any. So I thought it was time I drew some more storms...I decided to combine it with the HBP stuff, and so here it is!
Draco, obviously, slightly distracted by the fact that his broom's just caught fire.
I remember in book 3, I believe, when George complained to Oliver Wood that he hadn't been properly dry for months because they'd been practicing in all kinds of weather. (Or was it Fred? one of the two, anyway.)
The Slytherins must have been practicing in all weather, too, which is what gave me the idea for this picture.
The lightning strike could be better...I looked at tons of lightning-strike pictures, but getting it on paper (so to speak) is a lot easier said than done. This is the best I could come up with, and it's not too bad! I was most proud of the lighting and shadows. not perfect, I'm sure, but it's way out of my artistic comfort zone, so I was fairly pleased with the outcome.
I tell you though, at first, Draco wasn't cooperative at all. It took me forever to get the initial sketch right. : P

Honestly I found this on Google when searching Draco Malfoy Fan Art...the reason it caught my attention was because it was similar to a scene that I had described in my fanfic on fanfiction.net...only what I described was a dream and draco was watching harry's broom get struck by lightening XD awesome job!
