Hey everyone! Just to let you know: winter was kind of a mess of chaos this year, but I've been working very hard at the same time, and I intend to be more of a regular presence here. I'll even be offering commissions again, and I'll be happy to show off more of my work that I've done. I've learned a great deal about the newer tools available to me, and now I feel confident in my work. I start off with my own sketching, and now I can get most everything just how I'd like it, because I come back at every step of the process sketching, inking, correcting, and painting -- but I'm more efficient now! It's been wonderful to get to use some of the skills that I rarely used before in fully hand-rendered art. I can also train LoRAs, or simple trainings, on aesthetics, concepts, and characters, which I've done with my own art and styles, so that will also be available for anyone interested. Normally, I don't make political posts at all, because politics are a particular scylla and charybdis I try to avoid. But this time, it's unavoidable. I say this: vote. Vote that piece of shit out of office. Vote every piece of shit out of office who has contributed to this terrible situation and refuses to punish their own. Vote the republican party out of existence; they are complicit in the sabotage of our elections (two of the four last national elections we had, their candidates lost the popular vote and took the job anyway.) They have not punished this man for any of the high crimes he has committed, among them treason, which carries the death penalty. They don't want to punish one of their own, but he's so openly, cartoonishly evil, he's showing all the things they hoped to keep secret.
