I imagine the Curry as the next generation tug, replacing the Ptolemy class, with the ability to attach a mission pod as well as cargo. During the Dominion war she would be used as a transport/carrier/supply ship, which is the attachment featured here.

From looking like complete ass to something actually servicable, interesting
