Well I never really left DA as I will usually browse the new art by the artist I watch every week. By back I suppose I have new art to upload. Over the last couple of years my focus has been taken away from illustration as I have been learning 3D animation and trying to get a job in the industry. I've really missed the pleasure of creative a detailed illustration and the simplicity of 2D paint packages. So I've finally upgraded from Photoshop 7 (my trusty old pal) to the new and may I say rather sexy CS5. I hope to balance my 2D and 3D art output and keep growing as an artist.

First I thinks it's fair to explain my absence from deviantart , whilst I have been browsing art regularly, I haven't contributed much of my own. That is because I have been attending a full time college course in 3d animation. Which is fantastic-- I m learning so much great stuff. Education is the best. : )

It's early days yet but I do feel that I have been bitten by the animation bug and look forward to bringing more of my creations to life. I have not abandoned the digital painting permanently - it's just had to take a back seat whilst focus
