Herod is one of those very single minded villains I see.

Not really, Gilead is just a very real and present danger to him. He is definitely focused, though!

I dont know. One of his first statements was to claim the Domus as his once the threat was presumed over lol. Pretty single minded if you ask me.

Lol, true. His focus is extraordinary. I like to think him grander, then Gilead has not just overcome some simpleton. :)

He definitely has some grandeur to him. But with a name like Herod Im not surprised he rolls like a king.

Looking good, Gary! I like that Gilead is taking this fight seriously and not just punking Herod.

Gilead wouldn't do that, and personally if I make Herod look better, then that brings more drama! You get more props for taking out a champ than a chump. Also, Herod is fun to draw.

Exactly my position regarding villains and rivals. There is no drama, no suspense, in a one sided fight.
One sided beat downs serve our egos, but make for boring stories to our readers.
The hero must be challenged and the greater the challenge the greater the victory!

Is the Vector/Herod rivalry an any given Sunday thing or is he that antagonist that has to be overcome, like Hulk/Abomination? If you didn't know(and I think you do) Abomination is technically stronger than the Hulk from jump and Hulk has to ramp up to beat him.

Think more in terms of Goku vs Broly.
Although I know Abomination is stronger than Hulk in his relaxed state,
it never really seemed that way because Hulk is hardly ever relaxed!
Herod is essentially Superman raised without love or compassion.
Impossible speed, strength, and power on demand without restraint.
Vector can ramp up his powers to surpass him, but usually only one at a time.
That constantly leaves him vulnerable to Herod and forces Vector to come up with new ways to best him.
Vector rarely wins by brute force alone. He has an ace, but it's a very costly one not used lightly.
