" PowerfulWriting is a group meant to help writers grow into their own style and voice. Our focus is not showcasing so much as improving, with an emphasis on giving feedback. Anyone can join. We accept (almost) all work into the gallery where it stays (and is critiqued) for one month, at which point the piece is removed and the author can feel more confident submitting their work to showcase groups. "

" A type of Flash Fiction, six word stories are (very) short stories with an exact word count: six words. This is the place where alongside quality, quantity really does matter. Even though these stories are so brief in length, they are nevertheless profound, telling us so much and yet there is so little.
We, as a Group, encourage writers to explore their boundaries with prompts, collaborations and more things in between.
Quite a well known six word story is written by Hemingway: "For sale: baby shoes, never worn."
What does that tell you? "

Please feel free to send me a note if your literature group has an open admin position, or if you know of a group who needs help. Groups may be featured more than once in the "Group in Need" section! Keep in mind that since this is only a monthly article I can't plan too far in advance, but I will be happy to add your group's call for help to my Love dA Lit article in the meantime. Being featured in Love dA Lit previously does not bar you from being featured as the 'Group in Need'.
