Okay, Stephany put on your serious shoes. First things first, I want to remind everyone that a DD is a FEATURE not an award.
Guidelines
- Before sending in a suggestion ask yourself this question "Would I want the whole of DA to see this?"
As artists are now being recommended as people to watch to new deviants, we want to ensure they are active members of the site. Please keep this in mind when suggesting a piece!- Remember that proper spelling and grammar is important. Minor errors are acceptable of course!
- Preview images need to be used with permission, saying you found it on google doesn't count.
- Make sure the deviant whose work you're suggesting hasn't had a DD in the past 6 months. []
- Any kind of prose is welcome! Prose needs to be able to catch and hold my attention, I want to be engaged while I read so that I don't end up meandering off to do something else.
- Any kind of poetry is welcome! I'm not an expert at poetry, but I know what works and what doesn't. I'm looking for pieces that evoke feeling and are more than extravagant words put together to form pretty imagery.
- Do send me self-suggestions!
How to Suggest
- Send a note with the title "DD Suggestion".
- One suggestion per note, please! Thumbs are preferred.
- Be sure to only note one CV at a time with your suggestion.
- I would really love it if you send me a small blurb with why you think the piece deserves a DD.
Don't Like A Feature?
- 'Why is this a DD?' Why are you asking the artist?
- If I've featured something of yours and deviants are leaving rude and disrespectful comments please let me know. It was my choice to feature your work, not yours.
