So this is a tribute to the wonderful remake of Titanic to Hetalia doujinshi. I watched it a few weeks ago and I couldn't stop crying oh my gosh... OTL I was mildly sobbing from the second part, and then a wild sufin scene appeared. Gross crying all the way.
For you who haven't seen it: [link]
For the picture itself here, I used SAI for sketching and lineart, then coloured it in PS Elements.
I suck at drawing all kinds of instruments, so I used references to Austria. The "flying" is based on this picture: [link]
There are minor characters missing, like Liechtenstein and Switzerland, Russia and Seychelles, I just couldn't fit them in.
"Nearer My God To Thee" is a hymn you hear in the movie.

So much feels ;///;
Then I read that doujinshi and cried like a child.
but jack dies
I HATE YOU, GEMA. I HATE YOU ;_;
Jack, I'm flying!
I found this on Tumblr a long while back. I reblogged.
Just saying, it ALL FITS.
yeah finland you rock that women's clothing
All their personalities are in order, and still coincide with the doujinshi.
Ugh, that doujin. Kiku looking at the picture, Belgium and Spain and Netherlands and Romano. And SuFin with Peter. And RUSSIA.
And Austria...and Denmark and Norway. Oh, GOD. That ;____;
Fun fact -- the last time I watched Titanic was the first time after many years. Around the time it came out, I watched it on video (you know...nineties kid problem: it's on video cassette). Watched it daily at times. Felt sad but never cried.
Then when I was twelve I got back the video set and watched it after, like, five years. Oh, God, did I BAWL.
Now I'm afraid to watch it but but but -sobbbb- So beautiful.
Oh, yeah, France shoots himself in the mouth O_O
never let go
Okay, thank you for your time ;_;
But I really like this okay.
this has beheaded me with an axe made of feels....
I don't usually cry over the movie anymore.....but that....just....Heart is gone!
I was fine until Sweden Finland and Sealand! That broke me!
I love the picture! Even if there are characters missing you still get most of the story through your work! and I love it!
