This little dragon was studying hard, but she got so sleepy and had to close her eyes for just a moment... Now she's curled up comfortably, head resting right on the pages of her book. This dragon's hide is a black base, but you'd be forgiven for overlooking it, because her back is covered in bright metallic scales that shift from pink to green, depending on the angle of the light. To match these brilliant colors, her accents are a mix of bright pink and light green. To accessorize, she wears a pair of pink and green bands around her tail, as well as a mismatched pair of pink and green earrings.
I made this dragon during one of my recent Twitch streams, and she ended up being a fun, semi-collaborative piece. I incorporated a couple of ideas that I probably wouldn't have otherwise, like the double pair of wings and the tail decorations. I love that pink and green combination so much - I've been wanting to make something with those clay colors for ages. This dragon is really fun to pick up and admire in the light - the color shift is intense!
