Guardian of the Heart

Guess what? I had red rhinestone hearts too! I absolutely love the pose of this dragon. She looks smart and attentive, and I really like the way her front paws are posed. The pink is a mix of Premo's pearl and old-style magenta pearl and I think it is surprisingly lovely, considering how terrible the original pink is (it's seriously ugly, and since it dates back to when Premo first changed over to the new formula, it's practically impossible to work with too). Also, I really like the colors of the rhinestones that I used on this little lady. I think I'd like to do a companion dragon with the other half of the pastel rainbow gems (blue, green, cream) - I am envisioning it now and it looks really cool in my head! xD

Also, I just have to say that I used only sunlight for this photoshoot, no artificial lights at all, and the light looked amaaaaazing. So soft and natural and no obnoxious highlights. I am pretty dumb for not picking up on this before. -_-
