Felt like doing something rough...

This scene is Bilbo and Thorn leaving Bag End. Love the books and the movies.

So where is Gandalf and the other dwarves? Or are they "off scene". I loved the books/movies to. Not much of a fan of the table top game made by GW, but oh well.

Also, either Thorn is MASSIVE or Bilbo is right tiny!

lol, it's kind of a close up... I wanted to do something quick to stretch the fingers.

As far as size, I figured Thorn at about 5ft. Being King of the Dwarfs he should be a bigun.

I've always imagined hobbits being 3 feet, and dwarves being 4 feet.

I blame my 12+ years of playing Warhammer Fantasy (and 40k). Interestingly enough Warhammer Fantasy is based partialy on LotR stuff, and the "masters" for Games-Workshop wanted to do LotR stuff since back in the day when "White Dwarf" magazine covered stuff like D&D, Judge Dredd, and Star Trek. XD

But yeah. Thorn should be bigger. And he kinda has D&D Dwarf look. I'm sorry, the movies (awsome as they are), ruined the look of the characters for me. I can't see a "Dwarf" and NOT compair it either to the GW version, or the LotR-Movie version.

Not that that's a bad thing.

Anyways, your art rocks, end of discussion.
