Hello. Everyone who has known me before this might have noticed that our account has been deactivated for some times before. We didn't do the deactivation. The deactivation was done by DeviantArt staff.

This is the chronology.

MAY 30th

We wrote a Facebook post sharing FREE TO USE BACKGROUNDS and linked it to our DeviantArt and Stash accounts. The post is public.

The reaction is relatively well and it seems that a lot of people is downloading the backgrounds. Later we wrote this as our possibly explanation in our complaint ticket.

JUNE 3rd

We received an email. DeviantArt deactivated our account with a single word 'spammer' and no further explanations.

We directly wrote a complaint since we didn't believe we did anything wrong.

JUNE 4th-9th

We kept writing follow-ups to the staff.

We then finally decided to build a new account :devhouseofimagi: using our old team's account since there is no answer from the staff.

JUNE 27th (18 DAYS AFTER OUR LAST MESSAGE)

The staff finally wrote us back, which we were very grateful for. The staff even gave us free core membership for a year as a token of apology. We really appreciate that. However, they deleted most of our watchers and comments which we have poured our mind to for 11 years. We still don't understand how it's possible.

Therefore, with a heavy heart, we decided to move altogether to our new account :devhouseofimagi: instead since it's harder to organize the old account, rather than building a new one. This account will be used as the backup while we're cleaning them.

Thank you everyone for all of your support all these years. It's actually quite disappointing that most of our efforts and your supports throughout 11 years has been wiped out just like that. But we'd like to move forward and focus on what matters more.
