The autumn colours you can see in a single Patagonian Beech tree is more than in most countries' entire flora. There were often trees with an entire spectrum of colours ranging from lush green to bright red. Unluckily they were never in an ideal position to be photographed with the peaks in the background. I got this shot near the trail to camp Poincenot.
