My beloved pug, Harper. My sister pointed out that you can see my reflection in his eyes!

Hahah seriously it's like "okay okay I'll do whatever you want, just please don't give me that heartbreaking look anymore!" It's like I killed his puppy or something.
Hmm... a dog with a pet would be an interesting dynamic..

OMG - have you ever held a pug puppy!???? If you think this is heartbreaking, you should see
a baby pug face. You'll melt on the spot!

I have not, I guess that's why I'm still here and not a puddle in the corner of some pet shop =)

heee - a puddle indeed! That is exactly what happens when one holds
and cuddles a baby pug. Brodie was sooooooo tiny when he was born. He
was the runt and the breeder became very, very sick. He was the only
one to survive in his litter. Such a sad story. He was the size of a softball...
so rolly polly. I'll try to dig up some pics of him to share.

Aww... please do. I kinda wanna get another puppy.
Actually I've been considering fostering a baby capuchin - there's this program that trains these monkeys to help around disabled people (quadriplegics for example) by getting them food, putting cds or dvds in their corresponding player, fetching stuff, etc. They're looking for people though to act as foster parents for the first 7 or so years of the monkey's life, until it's mature enough to start training. I'm really kinda enthused about the idea.. I've wanted a friend monkey since I was 4.

Did I tell you about the monkey and the pug?
I don't remember the exact story but my
mother-in-law's ex-boyfriend (phew!)
had a pug and a monkey and he said that
they were attached that the hip. They used
to sit on the front curb together... the monkey
would put his arm around the pug. Can you imagine?!
Monkey's can be a lot of work - I wish you luck
and think it's the coolest thing ever!!
Happy Weekend!

Aww, so cute! He kinda reminds me of my older pug, Otis, when we first got him.

Brodie (the 8 year old) is so ugly, he's cute.
Sometimes he still looks completely precious but mostly, his tongue and teeth stick out
and he looks as if he's had a stroke, poor thing. He lost his hearing last year too. :(
Still, he is so much fun - always willing to play and is very vocal. Brodie has always
made the craziest noises. I'm relieved he didn't lose that with his hearing. Do you have
any pics of your pug?

I do, but they're all on my other computer. I actually have 3 pugs: there's otis (obviously XD), Pasco, who's a year old now, and we just got Layla, who's about 3 months old now. I have a pic of her, if you want me to send one. ^^
