I realize that I really wasn't active at all during 2016 but I plan to change that for 2017. I have a huge backlog of great images that I'm excited to start sorting through and uploading. These include lots of images from some of my past stock lines that haven't been updated in awhile but also lots of images from my two trips to Yellowstone National Park in 2015 and 2016 and lots of fun dog stock images. (Dog photography has been my recent focus as I now have four fantastic and photogenic dogs).
As always, though, feel free to comment below if there is anything in particular you'd like to see more of (especially past stock lines that haven't been updated recently)!
Also, PLEASE NOTE
that my non-commercial rule regarding most of my stock is not always by choice but by necessity. Most zoos have rules against commercial use of photographs of their animals and even places such as Yellowstone require that photographers buy a commercial license in order to allow any commercial use of the photographs that they take. I receive notes and comments on a regular basis asking to be allowed to use my stock commercially but the simple truth is that most of my images are simply not allowed to be used commercially due to rules outside of my control. I actually notice that a lot of 'free' commercial stock providers here on deviant are likely unaware of these rules as a lot of their stock is taken at the same types of facilities that I have frequented. While legal repercussions are unlikely, I simply do not consider it worth the risk.
Thank you all for your continued support. Let's make this an awesome year!
