Londurilli gun chariot

The Londurilli are a civilisation of humans who live at the northwestern part of the Galaxy. Being descendants of an ancient civilisation evacuated from a bygone cosmic invasion, the Londurilli used the technology of their rescuers as they flourished in their corner of the Galaxy.

Being the earliest known civilisation of humans in Galactic history outside Jerde, other humans refer them as "the First Men". They blend their ancient Asuwelli arts into their machinery, making them look almost like a race of demigods or fairies to later human visitors.

This one here is a soldier on a hulugantas (cf. Hittite hulukanni, a chariot), a sort of platform based on chariots propelled by engines. It has artificial gravity, which allows the wearer to continue walking on the platform without falling off, or even to suck his rifle back to his hands even if it flies off. Hulukantes riders are usually fire support units who shoot down ground targets, especially vehicles or engines.

The Londurilli are well-known for their cities carved alongside cliffs and mountainsides, mostly because of their flying vehicles and valleys on some of their worlds. It later spread to other Londuril worlds due to their beautiful style of architecture.
