Is This Just Fantasy?

"Is This the Real Life? Is This Just Fantasy?" The Queen is forever, and the Bohemian Rhapsody is an epic song that everybody loves—at least in our small group. So we decided to recreate its iconic cover photo with our own faces. Most photography schools try to avoid us to use overhead lighting but for this image this is one key (among others). So we neglected some so-called "rules". (Let's say they are guidelines. Or even mere suggestions.)

This is not my own creation. Hungarian Tolkien Society organized its traditional Creative Autumn Art Meeting in Komárom, Hungary and I led a workshop there for beginner photographers where we played with flashes and sync modes and constant lights and even darkness. (Sorry for the silly long sentence, I am still Hungarian and we are crazy for them ) Our aim was to discover the motion and dynamics in still photography and how to use it for special effects without Photoshop. Yes, this image has only minor color adjustment as editing. The idea and realization was a team work and the team was wonderful enough to give them the credit. They were

EDIT: Wow, this is "my" third DD and it is belonging to the whole group. All four of us put in our effort and eager to play and discover and without their co-operation this image would have been impossible.
