The end of healing process.

Sharing the same spirit of >> +s.o.o.t.h+ <<

after many kind words and appreciation for previous piece SOOTHE, this concept of "healing the nature" struck me stronger than before. and came to understand how well we do realize the earth could use some time off from direction of frantic industrial development. Not that the message conveyed here will change anything, but leaving a small note as an artists that we are aware of such dilemma.

South, inudstrial district built upon dead and currupted ground, by equally damaged spirits.
North, begining of turning back the time, and endless possiblities for new life.
Center, willingly given sacrifce to bring eucatastrophe to earth.

---------------
mainly done using PSCS. initially BG was done first using multiple textures and custom brushs.
Nature (foilages and orchid) and industral elements (metal field) were added.
Using Painter, female figure was added
using PSCS, figure deifned, stained. lightings/shadows and more effects were added.

No photo, or photo references used.
4 hours.

>> Eucatastrophe closeup montage <<

EDIT: little update on the image. and it is a bit enlarged. 500w to 600w.
though i previously mentioned the fact that i care less for anatomical imperfection, some of you kindly pointed out specific ackwardness in some area, so i felt wrong not doing anything about it. thanks guys.

Did you get the term "eucatastrophe" from Tolkien?

Good Lord, I should have joined dA a long time ago. I found your gallery through a recent RPG motivational poster at rpg.net. Now I have a HOON folder in My Pictures.

I am insanely jealous of your talent.:o :disbelief: :crying: :D

Since I'm a much better writer than an artist at present, would you complain if I wrote a brief critique of the symbolism you have here, or perhaps a vignette story to go with it, and either posted this piece at my page, or at least linked to it? Though having the art present on the page would be soooo much better... hint! :boogie:

Let me know what you think!

Great work.
However, and pelase udnerstand I'm not an art critic, somehow the upper leg, as it runs into the buttock, doesn't look quite right, almost as if the buttock is mishapen.
Ignoring that fact though, the rest is awesome, as most of your work is.
And I love the detail...

OMG.. Well, normally when I find an amazing piece, I'll gap it at it for a while, then conjure up some words to say how much I love it. But for this one, well, you've left me speechless. Everyone else has summed up what I have to say about this piece :)
