Wow. It's been 3+ years since our last journal o.O ... I think it's time for a mini-update.
First: How are all our hoofers doing?
Second: As far as I can tell, I'm the only one approving submissions at this point, and I suppose I will continue to do so for as long as I can. I try to check in at least once each week to see what's come in. If I miss approving something and the approval expires, it means I'm lazy af and will go resubmit it on your behalf. We also have very loyal contributors - if you're interested in joining this way, let me know and we'll review your work.
For our newest members, it's important to restate some of the submission rules for this group:
- no TF photomanipulations
- no ferals
- no My Little Pony (unless they are truly 'anthro' - this is because there are PLENTY of other groups out there for MLP. Go submit to those instead)
We're truly interested in anthropomorphic or furry hoofed creations. Centaurs and satyrs are acceptable, as well. In recent years, there's also been a certain quality level needed to be approved, but this is honestly loose and most of you are fantastic artists so
The one thing I have needed to emphasize for years, and PLEASE READ: If I can see the "dirty bits", you MUST submit to the Mature Content folder!!!!!
I can't emphasize this enough. There's a specific artist out there (who will go unnamed) that I haven't been able to accept submissions from because they keep submitting them to other folders, despite past attempts to urge resubmitting them to Mature. So I've actually been letting the submissions expire 'cause I can't be bothered to keep indirectly inferring this.
You can submit mature-themed art to this group. It goes in the Mature Content folder, but nowhere else. Got it? Yay \
Okay, back to your regularly scheduled programming. If you have any questions for me, let me know. Cheers! And did everyone see that amazing four-armed rhino piece? 8-D
