Inspired by 2-D Will Never Die's fantastic Illustrator tutorial ( 2dwillneverdie.com/tutorial/ve… ), I spent the entire summer trying to figure out how to do this in Flash without exporting an Adobe FXG of every single frame and important that in Illustrator and pasting THAT into Photoshop-- and lo and behold, it was worked right into the program all along! This method is fantastic for animators (especially ones attempting to recreate the early 2000s 640x480 point-and-click adventure style), especially because unlike the Illustrator method (which relied heavily on the pen tool), you can use a stinkin' paintbrush or pencil tool! Which is fantastic, even for a very rough draft of a sprite before refining the frames afterward.
