Ship's wheel

Taken last Monday at the Maritime Museum, Hartlepool.

Okay, it's nothing special, but I just liked the colour of the mahogany that H.M.S. Trincomalee's wheel is made from.

Hi Bob, have a look on my gallery Different Shades, HMS Trincomalee.
Took that shot a few years ago...Neil.

Very nice, and gives a little bit of a period look in B&W.

I've visited HMS Trincomalee a couple of times over the past few years, both during the day, and at night.
Thought you'd been on your hols. Love the colour of the sea.

I wish I could afford a holiday on a similar ship, not that I would like the work involved.

I'm not sure that the turquoise colour is actually the sea. It could be as such, possibly the marina, or it could be one of the nearby buildings of the old Jackson's Landing.
