I've been taking a holiday hiatus from my commissions to "stretch my legs" or so to speak. So, I thought it would be fun to do a redo of an older piece [link]
It's not unusual for me to redo older pieces, and I think that's because they're already half way done, ya know? All I have to do is some touching up.
It was fun redoing this. I just watched some videos on ctrlpaint.com and was feeling inspired. I gave up my beloved square brush for this and switched to a soft oval for most of it. I like it better now, and maybe in a year or two I'll redo this one, too.
