Cosplay Wig Tutorial - Easy Sewn/No-Glue Wefts

Description

A quick tutorial for how I make wefts. This isn't necessarily the best way to make your own wefts, but it is the simplest and cleanest method I've come across. I did try the standard glue method once, it was messy and I ended up with bulky, crunchy wefts. This method creates even wefts with very little bulk that can be sewn securely and easily into a wig, or glued if you prefer. I am in no way an expert when it comes to wigs, and still managed to get a good result first try using this method.

Any decent quality wig will work. The fibres you use should be straight, untangled and at least a couple of centimeters longer than you want the final weft to be.

Unfortunately the site I sourced my wig from seems to be closed at the moment, but this was the wig I bought: matchwigs.com/buy-cosplay-wigs…

If you have any questions, or would like to see further tutorials, let me know! I usually respond faster over on my page (linked below). And as always, if you use my tutorial or pattern, please credit me.
