Personality:

Bumpkin is one confident and self-assured lil lady, the kind that will always stick up for herself and those too afraid to do it themselves. She believes that hard work and honesty will always pay off in the end, and struggles to lie even in situations where it may be necessary. Both athletic and full of energy, Bumpkin is always willing to help out those in need of it! Bumpkin also does her best to make sure everyone’s ideas are accounted for, though she can be impatient despite her best efforts not to. It’s not uncommon for her to make impulsive decisions that would’ve turned out better if she had just paused to think. All Bumpkin hopes to do is to leave a positive impact on the folks around her, and knows that she and Aureys can do good for the world through being a part of the Trailblazers!

Physical Appearance:

A shiny fletchling with slightly bigger wings than normal. Bumpkin has a few, unkempt feathers on the top of her head which resembles a cowlick. She also inherited her green eyes from her Decidueye father. Bumpkin knitted her plaid bandana when she was younger, and added a little apple onto it after befriending Aureys!

History:

Bumpkin was born in the southern part of a region, her family having a small homestead in a vibrant, green field south of a mountain range. She has two fathers, one being a Talonflame named Flint and the other being a Decideueye named Vipen. They’d farm various berries for themselves, the pokemon living by, and anyone who passed by looking to trade–though they’d afford to spare a few for the less fortunate. As she got older, she learned how to cook flavorful meals and various hobbies, one of her favorites being knitting! But Bumpkin always had an adventurous soul, so when she got word of guilds up in Vandril’s Harbor, she just knew she had to go and explore the world for herself! But just before she left, one of her friends, an applin named Aureys, had heard of her plans to leave and built up enough courage to ask if he could join her! Bumpkin enthusiastically agreed, thrilled to have a friend by her side! So she’d pack a few bare necessities, wave her parents goodbye, and take off with Aureys by her side!

Personality:

Aureys tends to be shy around others a lot of the times, often not the one to do a lot of talking but more of the one to be observing. He is bold in the way he carries himself and when facing down opponents, not usually one to back down unless the fight isn’t going the way he wants it to. He is till learning a lot and is always open minded and seeking the next adventure. However he is an ‘hero’ at heart in almost the generic sense of the word, wanting to do good and be a do-gooder in all that he is without causing harm to others. To see them smile, to be a protector, to be loved - that is all that he wants in life… well that and to protect Bumpkin!

Physical Appearance:

Short standard sized Applin with a nice and ripe red apple - he has to change out his apple after so long when it gets too dry inside for his scales. On the outside of his apple he is a light green with a darker green underbellied ‘worm’ like creature. He tends to have a celery green colored pupil with darker green sclera around his eyestalks. Two small appendages appear from his tail as if they are a little twig or weed. He carries around his dreamcatcher necklace that was made with a four-leaf clover tied in the center and 6 feathers from his adopted mother, Mandi.

History:

Aureys knows nothing of his origin or where he hails from. What he knows is that on the southern side, near the bottom of the mountain scape his egg was found alone and abandoned. It was a miracle he was born healthy due to the chill his egg had upon finding. His adopted mother, Mandi, a Mandibuzz of the mountains, took him in. While they resided on one of the cliff edges, he would often roll down to spend time with his friend. He would learn survival skills from his mother, and even took training lessons. Aureys was never afraid of danger or a challenge, but communicating with strangers caused him to be shy. He barely had enough courage to ask Bumpkin if he could join her. Relieved she said yes, he was quick to give his mother a farewell, gaining his good luck charm from her before he would set off with his friend!
