Please forgive a very newbie-ish question, but would scanning developed film on a normal computer scanner produce any kind of decent result?
I've been able to scan negatives with a normal flatbed scanner, but the negative must be perfect.
If it has the minimum scratch, it will totally ruin it, because somehow it reflects back the sensor light and distorts the image.
As ~RKHobbs says, if you can find the transparency adaptor for your scanner, it's the way to go.

Some scanners have a transparency feature that works well. If your scanner doesn't have a transparency option, then you aren't likely to get a good result.
