It's amazing how much time you can spend browsing Gimp tutorials. I've been at it all week, I swear it's taking over my life! I just keep thinking of study leave and all that time I won't have for art and other fun stuff...So I should make the most of now, right?I've scanned in a load of drawings but I'm using the University scanners and the only one free was the crappy one. Actually, they're all pretty crappy. So I've been trying to clean them up on Gimp but it's taking a while. Is there a fast way to do it? And while we're on the subject, does anyone know exactly what an Alpha channel does? I've seen it on tutorials but I don't reall...
