Deviantart NOT IS a website to upload your creations in doll games. Is a web about original artist.
In deviantart there are artists that show their art.
Theft is not tolerated.
Anything creations doll should be in your scraps folder and link to the original author or website.
If not, you're impersonating identity.

FAQ #502: Can I submit things which I made using different "games" like a doll maker or with other character generators?…:

'Since these creations involve no true artistic effort and are entirely prepackaged the only location they may be placed is in your Scrapbook.'

I'm tired of saying it.
On this website are permitted only original creations, not copy-paste of games, illustrations, "renders"(the stupid "renders" that copy original artwork, and also become owners of creation when only has traced over the original drawing.) etc..
I can not be by telling everyone all the time, because only get angry and I'm already tired of this topic.

Please, respect the original authors.
How hard is to read the rules of devianart?

Now I will discuss other subject.
More than 10 people have written me notes telling me of a possible art theft or plagiarism in this game:…
Anime purikura bff make over game by Rinmaru

I knew this game for over 4 months.
Clearly shows the influence of style of my game flash: Anime Christmas Makeover
Anime Christmas Make Over by HlYA

Moreover, in its own deviantart there are users who say things:

"~dolldivine Dec 7, 2011
Oh my, my, my. We sure have outdone ourselves again!!! O_O

The polish is very *HlYA, but the kawaii and customization are all Rin!!! "

"*Rinmaru Dec 8, 2011
Thank youuu!!! Tried Hiya's shading/coloring technic this time  !"

"~RAWRItzKat Dec 19, 2011
The girls have a very BonnieGames-ish kinda style. Am I the only one who noticed that? "

For my part, I did contact with her for months:
After a long discussion (she treated me as if I was stupid) it was recognized that he had copied.

I only can is to call your attention, only that.
Although she admitted all in the end , I have notices on the same game all the time.

The damage is done, so ... I do not care to apologize now.

Really apologize to me, is stupid.

It bothered me.
It has angered me.
Now he wants more of me? My forgiveness?

Sorry, I do not consider my work respected.

This girl has no style, and is always copying foreign styles.

This girl has lost all respect I had for him.

I like to create school, I do not like, is attempting to steal my identity artistic.

Thank you very much everyone for supporting me and warned me.

Changing the subject again.
Thanks to people who have encouraged me in the last post.
Only this.Nothing to say .... could say a million things but for now prefer to keep quiet. Anyway ... some people do not understand that if I keep glad everything is better ... but instead, it only makes me angry.
Only this

I have had problems a bit personal and encouragement have helped me a lot.
Thanks <3

This journal post is very unprofessional. I understand how you don't like your work "copied" but the comments you made about rinmaru are like that of a child. You don't go and slander someone's name because they get inspired by you. If you don't want people trying your style because they admire you and like your work then don't be an artist and don't post your work. Simple as that. It would be different if she completely stole the game but she just used shading and similar facial expressions and a program that you use and you freaked out and acted immature. I respected you and your art but this journal just drew the line. Rinmaru was kind to you. Nothing she said made you out to be stupid. You need to learn to be a little more professional if you are going to be an artist. You don't own the concept of using adobe flash. Maybe if you invented the program but you didn't. You've lost another follower due to this inappropriate journal.

Dear Hiya,

although it has not happened on the internet - I would like to share my experience with you.
I have a friend -
and she always admired my art.
And so she copied the style to get the attention and admiration of others
that I used to have. Now everyone prefers her drawings to mine -
however I am not mad at her.
I am quite happy -
because I am flattered that she liked my art so much.

I feel that you should not be mad at this person who copied you style,
but you should be flattered.

because imitation is the best form of flattery.

Rin is technically my "competition" and regardless I call her a good friend. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met online. She is always eager to help if I need any website help or advice.

She, like all of us, is a fan of your work and was inspired by it. You returned her admiration with slandering her name online. I have no words

I agree with you. Rinmaru is competition and partner of Kawaii Games and I always admired her work. This thing of copying "original" (with tons on quotes)style is an overreaction. Rinmaru always do cute anime style and I don't see a problem with an different approach of art. Rinmaru didn't rippof the graphics of Riya games, just did in different style...
Sorry Hiya, I always admired your work, but you're super drama queen lately.

Do not mix personal life with professional life, please.
However, I tell, I do not want fans who try to copy me and benefit economically.
I do not care if she might be holy then do that with me.
She should learn to ask for permission.

I was just thinking... most of the games you are famous for were commissioned by bonniegames. They own that artwork now.

It's kind of funny, but you're using your time to protect bonniegames mostly. They are the ones who are running a website continually making money from the games, and they benefit the most by the style staying unique.

I hope they are paying you well to spend so much time helping them :)
HlYA Featured By Owner Mar 20, 2012  Professional Digital Artist
O.o what?? Bonniegames not my site. I have only worked for her.xD Do not make things up.
I now work for another company.
dolldivine Featured By Owner Mar 20, 2012  Professional General Artist
Yeah, I know, but you were commissioned by bonniegames. So the games you are famous for, and the artwork are owned by bonniegames. So they are benefitting the most by the style staying unique.

HlYA Featured By Owner Mar 20, 2012  Professional Digital Artist
The'm sorry but this wrong.
But my bonniegames contract type is not what you are saying.
The style belongs to me because I believe it.
In bonniegames never told me what style to use, they always left me free.

Si alguien me copia, pierdo caché, no me interesa.
dolldivine Featured By Owner Mar 20, 2012  Professional General Artist

HlYA Featured By Owner Mar 21, 2012  Professional Digital Artist

Hiya, We talked about it several months ago.Just like you imitate anime drawers i imitated your style,And because i was kind enough i said i wouldn't copy your style again. Now that you want to create a scene and make a small DA drama out it.Fine? I don't care. Your work is simply not an artwork. It's a way to use the program flash.I did not copy your drawings,i simply imitated the use of flash. If you still are angry about it why don't you sue me? Because if you don't understand English it's better our lawyers talk about this.

I am angry with you because from December to talk you haven´t removed the game yet, and you are benefit of it still.
And besides, I get letters constantly from people asking if your game is mine or you copied me.
So I wanted to go public, because even if you have apologize, you have not removed the game in your web or your deviantart, and you have not kept your part of the deal.

You want me to remove the game? Give you the $376.01? and even if the girl SAYS that she is sorry, this is a professional work, she is doing economical damage, it's not a thing of pride. HIYA makes games as her JOB, is not the same that if somebody copies the style you use for fanarts!!!

and I can't take seriously somebody who talks about the "kawaii and customization"

I understand that you must be really mad about this, but you can say your style is also completely your own. The anime art style is widely used and it can only be used so much before things start to look similar. I also don't think she was treating you as an idiot, merely standing his/her own ground. If someone accused you of stealing their art-style even if you stated you were only trying out the style, would you really say "Yes yes of course I totally stole your idea and am making money off of it." Her answer was something to be expected. But yes, she shouldn't have tried to copy your style without asking permission beforehand.
SpinelRed Featured By Owner Mar 17, 2012
Uh. She apologized...
so what was the point in making a journal about it?
And, in my opinion, although the styles are actually pretty similar, they aren't exactly the same... there are some differences that I can see. It looks more like she was in the process of adapting your style. I do think that this is very close to crossing the line, and if she'd directly copied anything besides your style then there would be a problem.
But she said she won't use that style anymore, so I don't see why you're making a big fuss.
gaManka-studios Featured By Owner Mar 17, 2012  Professional Digital Artist
I want to start off by stating how much I love your games. They’re so much fun to play^^ the details and intricacies make it all the more fun^^ plus your style is just plain adorable.
However I seem to have found some discrepancies in this journal. Firstly the artist you are complaining about admitted that they used your style as a reference and although I FULLY AGREE that using a style SO CLOSE to someone else’s is WRONG I would like to point out that they did apologize and state that they would NO LONGER USE YOUR STYLE.
As for your statement that using Adobe flash to create games was your idea so no else should use it I am sorry dear but that is a fallacy. Although I must state that using adobie flash to create flash games was an amazing and very inginuitive idea it’s the same as figuring out how to draw anime in photo shop how to create an animation in Photoshop. You didn’t create the technology.
Again I agree that people should not be making money using a style that is so close to your own however again they apologized and stated that they will no longer be making art using your style there’s no reason to make a hate journal.
I sincerely hope to see more of your amazing artwork I also sincerely hope that no one else uses your exact style without permission.

Audsu Featured By Owner Mar 17, 2012
Hiya, I honestly think you are over reacting about this, and if you have EVER taken inspiration from another artist or wanted to try out an artist's style (which clearly you have, seeing as you have a very moe-anime style of drawing) you have no right to be angry about something like this. Artists take inspiration from others all the time. Have you ever heard the phrase "Imitation is the greatest form of flattery"? Simply because another artist wanted to try out your style does not mean they were plagiarizing. From what I understand from your post, the other artist simply imitated your style of coloring/drawing, they still did the work that went into creating that game. They did not steal entire images from your games. And to those who are complaining about Rinmaru not developing their own style: TRYING NEW THINGS IS HOW YOU DO THAT. As for the magical girl game, there are tons of those out there. you didn't invent them, and you are making a mountain out of a mole hill.
HlYA Featured By Owner Mar 17, 2012  Professional Digital Artist
So because she has admitted the copy?

I am not a rich artist, also need money for food, and that people should benefit from my work does not seem good.

Rinmaru has made money by copying my style.
And that's what made me angry.
When you pass something similar, you know how I feel.
Audsu Featured By Owner Mar 17, 2012
Hiya, the only way that she is benefiting from your work is by learning from it. She never claimed to be you, she did not steal an original concept from you, and she even praises your artwork as an inspiration to her. Her using a coloring style that you also happen to use (and I'm sure many other artists use) is not going to take money away from you. honestly, I think that this over-reaction will only make others lose respect for you, I certainly have.

HIYA, the anime/chibi/kwaii artistic style is world wide and you can't really claim it as your own. Sure, the first game you showed really does have a lot a similarities to your original Christmas game, but it also throws in its own style. As for that long discussion you linked us to, it mearly shows someone who admires your work appologizing to you in a rather annoyingly cutsie way, but it would also seem like that's just how she is, not that she's singling you out and making fun of you. As for that Magic Girl game, there's only one thing similar: they both star magic girls. But magic girls have been popular since the begining of anime and are used in a lot of doll games. This game you showed us looks nothing like yours, nor does it work like yours; it's someone else's game entirely.

I'm sorry if I've offended you in any way, but this is my opinion of the matter.
HlYA Featured By Owner Mar 17, 2012  Professional Digital Artist
No claim the manga style.
Claim the form to color in ADOBE FLASH, the disposition of the colors, layout, lines, etc. .. all application that form my original style in the flash games.
You can only superimposing the mouths, eyes, noses, etc. .. to see that they are exactly alike.
See the catalog of game from rinmaru, and you will notice that in this game of coloring style changes a lot.
And too, she admitted all.

And I can assure you that 3 years ago no one used this form of colored flash.

I really do not care who admire my work.
Because it has benefited financially from it, and say "sorry" did not help at all.
Audsu Featured By Owner Mar 17, 2012
While I have a huge problem with your over-reation, I think that those last few lines are disgusting.
"And I can assure you that 3 years ago no one used this form of colored flash.

I really do not care who admire my work."

1) That was 3 years ago. As mentioned before, many people use adobe flash. just because you were one of the first people to try using that form of coloring does not mean you own it. Does that fact that Monet was one of the first impressionists mean he owns that style and no one else is allowed to use it or learn from it? I certainly hope not because that means many of my paintings are nothing but "Plagiarisms" (in your words) of his work.

2) If you don't care who admires your artwork, that means you don't care about your fans, who are actually the reason you can make money from your games. This single line has made me lose every ounce of respect I ever had for you as an artist.
HlYA Featured By Owner Mar 17, 2012  Professional Digital Artist
See, for 3 years, no one used my technique of color in flash games.
If you can find a test, please teach me. Because I can assure you will not find it.
Do you have more information I?
Do you have more experience than me in the sector?
Please know that I speak, stop bothering me.
Look, I will not discuss with someone who has never suffered what is stolen is the style which makes his living.
If you still bothering me, I will consider you a troll.
A. - I do not want fans troll.
2. - I do not want thieves fan of my work.
3. - I do not want fans who treat me as stupid.
I have spent years working on it, do not tell me stories.
What I've lost respect for me?
