I'm on vacation this week and was planning just to clean out and repaint my bedroom and re-arrange the furniture. Well I'll still get that done but a couple of other cool things happened this week. I met a friend of mine for lunch in Suffolk, VA at a little coffee shop. This place has solo shows of local artists. I was showing her some of my fractal art and the waitress came by and saw it and ooohed and ahhhhed. Then the owner was talking to someone esle about how he only had solo shows and only used local artists. I asked him what he meant by local and Virginia Beach was close enough to be considered local. Grief (Updated)

My beloved boyfriend of the last 26 year died this morning.  I can't even begin to think how to handle this. Please tell everyone you care about that you love them today. It's almost the very last thing I said to him and I'm so very grateful for that. When I'm feeling more able to do so I will respond individually, but I wanted everyone to know how much it helps to have your support and hugs and sympathy. Thank you. I want to thank everyone who has commented lately and those who have given me favs. Yoour support is much appreciated and while I don't seem to have the time to answer each individually, I do want all of you to know how grateful I am that you like my work. I run lots of differnt variations and multiple scripts per image and lose track of what scripts I used by t

Hi there, are you still here? A belated happy birthday to you (I think you share that BD with me) and I'm going to be putting more of my artwork here now as well. Or do you have your own art website now? I have about 7!
I was just thinking about you the other day. Remembering when I stopped by Minneapolis on my wqay to Utah and we had such anice time going to the Mall of America.

My birthday was good - 55 now - how did that happen?

We do indeed share a birthday. Happy belated birthday to you.

Right now I'm writing a blog on grieving and moving on with your life (well I haven't gone too far into the moving on part but it's the direction I'm ultimately headed). It's at
