Just finished writing my first round for Trinity
I still have to go back and edit it a bit and I still have lots of illustrations to do for it as well but The actual story is finished. It turned out to be 10000 words.To be honest I'm not sure if that's way to long of not. I've never competed in a tournament with written entries. I've only ever done comics and I would never be able to reach the realm of way too long with comics. I couldn't even finish them because I was so slow. Still I'm not sure anyone will want to read what amounts to 1/8th of a novel.I'm not sure I want to post it publicly until everything is done but at the same time I want to have people read it and give me feedback...

Is this a stupid idea?
So I was thinking about web comics. I mean at this point it's pretty obvious that web comics are insanely popular. In fact I'm pretty sure Andrew Husey owns only slightly less of the world than the Disney corporation. But I was wondering if the model could work for something else like written media.Do you think people would come back to a website day after day and week after week to read what is essentially a light novel? I was just wondering because I have a lot of ideas but I'm way better at writing than I am at not procrastinating (drawing comics) And there would still be room for illustrations.What do you guys think?leave a comment and...
OCT progress
I've finished penciling the first half of my entry for :icontrinitytourneyoct: That's 8 out of 16 pages. And yes, 16 is the minimum for me to make the round coherent so I can't shorten it any.I haven't even started inking, lettering, or shading anything yet. I should have realized having three characters per person means your entries end up three times longer.and it doesn't help hat I draw slower than anyone I know. oh well, back to work.
