Deinonychus

A Deinonychus I drew for my personal site. The Deinonychus is my absolute favourite dinosaur. To this day, I still vividly recall the illustration of a sprinting Deinonychus by Robert Bakker that I saw in a book as a child. The movie "Jurassic Park" put the closely related velociraptors square into the spotlight, and I was so happy that this "minor" branch of the dinosaur world was finally getting the attention it deserves.

疾走するディノニクスの絵が忘れられません。

ジュラシックパーク以降、近縁種のヴェロキラプトルが有名になりましたね。
マイナーだったこの種が、スター恐竜に仲間入りした時は嬉しかったです。
