The rest of redesigns I made inspiring from  ThisIsEllian's Weapon design #2 - 100 Swords.
These were done a couple months ago.

I initially planned to entirely redraw these and paint these digitally,
but later decided that it would take too long and lately I've got too irritated to keep holding on to my pieces until "the next week comes by".
So instead I decided to release these step-by-step.

I'm not sure when I'l finish these since I keep coming up with other stuff to to,
but I'l try not to prolong them to infinity.

Tell me what you guys think, any recommendations and what I could possibly change!!!

I really like these, I looked at the other posts of the swords you did as well, this is just the one I'm putting my comment on. I sat here for awhile trying to think of a bit of critique so that this comment would have some value. Here are a few of the points I came to.

- Most of the designs are western in style even when pushed into the realm of fantasy. (A lot of straight blades)

- When it came to the greatswords you got more creative with the hilt but less creative with the handle and pommel. Also something to keep in mind is that swords generally fall into 1 of 3 categories of grip. One-Handed, Two-Handed, and One and a Half-handed (One hand would go on the Pommel). I think these ideas could be explored and pushed further in your designs

- You tend to air on the side of skinnier blades, with a few exceptions, I believe it would be valuable to do more of the greatswords with very wide heavy blades, even if they are completely in the realm of fantasy, and pay special attention to how the weight and balance of the sword would work.

I hope my comment was helpful to you and goodluck in the future : )

Wow, thank you so much for giving such thoughts to my designs, I appreciate it a lot!

It was a struggle, I really hungered for over the top designs, but I'm fairly inexperienced,
so I decided to play it safe and stick to some level of realism.

In short, my answer regarding the weak points you mentioned is, simply, well...inexperience and lack of knowledge.
In my opinion, there is improvement between my latest designs and the ones I posted quite some time ago.
This is a learning experience for me, that's one of the reasons I choose to redesign already existing swords
(otherwise it would have looked like I'm flailing in the mud), so I just hope I'l be able to show more interesting concepts in the future.

Regardless, thank you for critiquing!
You gave me something to think about.

While I'm not sure when I'l finish these since I keep coming up with other stuff to do,
I really hope you'l decide to keep observing!
