Between grad school, the new kitten, winter break, going to a wedding, having my best friend get engaged (I get to be Maid of Honor, yay!), and other assorted things, I've been gone, I know.Buuuuut playing Mass Effect 2 almost nonstop has given me some inspiration for some comics!I still doodle a lot in class. New place, new 'job', and new worries

So yeah, if you read my sister's journal :iconzenelly-raen:, you know that the two of us are now up in South Dakota and getting ready to go to college. She'll be entering as a fish, and I'll be starting my PhD. That's my new 'job', and also my new worries.I think I've found who I want to be my supervisor, and I like the project and the team from what I can tell so far. But it's difficult for me to see what I'll do for my dissertation research, what aspect of the project is in-depth and innovative enough to be my topic.... and it's classified research (thanks military), so I won't really be able to rant about much of it.
