Anyone have any tips for drawing guys?
Everything I draw is very feminine looking and i'm trying really hard to draw something for my friend that he'd like before he moves away (That doesn't make him dysphoric..) .. I kinda wanna make it more masciline but ...apparently I don't know how ...right now with how i've draw him, he just looks like a v soft boi

I draw guys a lot 8^y, and I know about dysphoria and it sucks, some cool tips would to make the shoulders wider (even if they don't necessarily have wide shoulders IRL, adding some width would make it more 'masculine')
Instead of round smooth lines, try somewhat sharp edges and shapes.
Even the pose can give off a masculine vibe so try picking poses, references are always good.
For the face what most people would call masculine would be small eyes, less profound eyelashes, thicker brows, and a longer face (but not always, this is just typical features)

The left figure would probably be an appropriate example/reference for a body type.
But regardless I'm sure your friend will love the drawing ^-^

Oh my gosh, thank you!!
These are honestly all extremely helpful tips , I'll try to take it all on board!
I really appreciate the advice, thank you!!

Lowkey worried if i make it too maculine it'll make Him feel worse..well ..I'll have to do my best anyway.
I can only hope he'll like it anyway but I appreicate the confidence boost c:

no problem QuQ
And that's the thing, you can always tone down the features if you find them to be too much. It's better to have the general idea in mind so you can change it to suit the person
