This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get Core Membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get Core Membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!

First of all, what benefits do you have updating your BIOS? Well, it depends on what is going to be improved with the new version (however you can see all about this in the documentation of the new version).
If you want to update your BIOS this is basically what you have to do:
Open the terminal as root and type fdisk -l to recognize the usb stick, so you can unmount it.
mkdosfs -n "Name_Pendrive" -I /dev/sdf1
to format in Fat16
mkfs.vfat -n "Name_Pendrive" -I /dev/sdf1
instead, to format in Fat32.
Use unetbootin to put FreeDOS on an USB stick
Download the latest BIOS from the Acer webpage (latest is v.1.29)
Unzip the BIOS-files to the USB stick
Reboot and configure the BIOS to boot from the USB stick before the SSD/HDD (at the boot press F12)
Select "FreeDOS Safe Mode (don’t load any drivers)". This ensures the CPU is running in real mode which is highly recommended for any kind of firmware update.
Now write near "A:\>"c:
Now write near "C:\>"dir/w
Now start the BIOS update utility writing KAV60.BAT
At the end of the process the netbook will reboot (if not you have to reboot it manually)
Remove the battery pack and AC adapter and after few seconds plug in the battery pack or AC adapter again.
Configure the BIOS to start from the HDD/SSD first again (usually you don't need to do this, it is automatic)
At the boot click F2 and save the configuration of your new BIOS. If needed change what you need to change...carefully.
Done. Now you have the latest version of the BIOS on your netbook!
