Character Design: Unamed Title

So a while back I was writing a story for fun and had plans to create a webcomic out of the idea. It's been about 2 years since then. Back when I decided to make this a thing, I had already created character designs for 8 of the characters. These are 4/8 of them. Raina, Wes, and Rosaline are 3 out of 5 of the main characters. Hopefully I will somehow figure out a way to actually make at least one page of this story or it might never be. IDK yet but here's some sketches of how the characters appear. I tried to make each character's face express their personality. 

Rosaline: A kind and timid girl. She was abandon by her mother one day and picked up by a mysterious man into a special orphanage when she was 12. She originally had long hair but due to complications in her life, she decided to cut it short as a symbol of her new resolve. Her magic is Lightning.

Wes: A confident and witty boy. He met Rosaline the day after she had arrived at the orphanage. Wes is a powerful magic user who is part of the Ancient Council. He loves to tease people, especially Rosaline because her reactions are always so extreme. Wes's magic is fire.

Raina: The most powerful magician under the Red King's rule. She's a fashion model and college student who had grown up in the orphanage with Wes. Raina acts as big sister to Rosaline. She's very protective of everyone at the orphanage.

Xen: Raina's mysterious co-worker. He meets Raina as she is having a conflict with a photographer at the shoot. He comes off as too kind, and he smiles too much. He is younger than Raina but acts much more mature than her. Xen has a very mischievous aura. His strange colored eyes are due to a mutation he suffered as a kid. 

The plot itself, I have figured out but there's still a few kinks. Tell me what you think of these characters :3Like/Hate the designs?
