Pages 23-30 of my comic

Sometimes my dialogue seems excessive and sometimes it isn't!
Learning to pace a story is a skillset that's different than writing a story or narrative.
I believe the sparce dialogue is necessary at the end. Despite having delt with all kinds of intruders on Moya before, our three survivors are older and a bit out of practice. Aeryn the likely to be the most dangerous with Chiana right behind.

There's a cook named Essk (she was in one episode of the TV show) who ends up being the cook on Moya. Her skills aren't nearly as bad as spoiled Tia makes them out to be!

A piece of dialogue that I had to cut:
John: She certainly reminds me of Jool!
Chiana: Oh, frell no! She's far worse! < (I'll let you decide!)

On page 26, it looks like Spg't is in a cage! It's a cage but the bars are part of a ladder that drops down. It's the firing controls for the back top turret.
Sl'dg has the same setup directly in front of him!
