century, little Rosamond Grey snuck into the woods one night, and was found unconsciousness the next day. For years afterwards she suffers from seizures from an unknown ailment. Dr. Glass is loosing hope for her cure, until a strange foreigner hints of a different cause…Comment:
I was very intimidated by drawing the Dr. at such an angle as you see in the first panel. Then I just used my reference book on drawing suited men at different angles, and it the picture turned out better than I expected.
And yes, the rope hatching in the last panel was by hand. I'm pleased with how it turned out. The contents of the letter, sadly, were not done by hand--you couldn't read it if it was.
Next I'll have to research Victorian/Old West restaurants and bars.Materials:
