Having spent some time with an Intuos 5 I've understood why my digital painting skills were so slow to develop.
Sometimes it isn't just me, but the tool. In this case I've realised a good drawing tablet is necessary if my pencil skills are to translate to digital.
I am mostly a line drawer, but I seek to improve upon that with colour, digitally.
I've ordered a Wacom Bamboo Medium, as that is as far as I can stretch for now, but it will be adequate.
