Christmas in the Castle

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! For this year, I decided to make a scene of Zelda setting out milk and a plate of cookies for Santa. Trying to figure out how to decorate the scene was tough. I tried to find a mix between Hyrulean decorations and Christmas decorations. I used my model for Zelda again in this scene.

So once again, I used the Medieval Interior Construction Kit to create the castle interior. That set has become a lifesaver for castle scenes. I used the decorations on the tree to decorate the garland. I also added a Triforce at the top of the tree instead of an angel or star. That seemed more fitting for Hylian Christmas. I made custom textures for the banners and the rug. The border on the banners specifically is a repeating pattern of the medallions from Ocarina of Time. I also couldn't resist putting Santa hats on the suits of armor

In Photoshop, the only thing I did was add the milk in the glass since I for got to do that originally. Given the absurd render time (three days), I really didn't want to have to render this again.
