Cat; O’ Child of mine, you drive me crazy,
Like no one else.
And I don’t know the rest of that song.
It's true though, despite having fur like a bed of moss.
Being engulfed in the depths of that fur
You drive me to my limit.
I may be entranced.
Caught like a boar in a snare,
Into you hypnotic eyes.
But no amount of eerie loveliness
Loveliness of those sapphire eyes can save you.
From my loving wrath.
That same wrath that will do not to you.
Whilst you weaponize that meow, A low-high pitched crackel that waits till I slumber.
Keeping me away until the crack-Nye! After the crack of dawn.
Like a man bribed to grate his nails on a board while following me around.
All of eternity, times two, plus one, to the tenth power.
I love you cat.
A testament to that love is how much I put up with that smell.
That rancid, sharp odor you call ‘piss’.
And no matter how immaculate your litter box is.
You still feel privy to piss all over my homework…
Fuck, not my homework!
