Vendetta and Vigilanta at Comicsburgh Day 2024!

Today at legendary local comic shop Phantom of the Attic Oakland, two beautiful and powerful spandex-clad superheroines from Heroineburgh arrived to champion the cause of independent comics!

On the left: Vendetta, the masked Italian spirit of vengeance in her tight and shiny red costume. She wields her deadly escrima sticks for the cause of truth and justice, fighting against the Mob and other elements of the criminal underworld with her incredible combat skill and stamina. By day, she is the meek and mild criminal law student Veronica Benedetti, studying at the University of Pittsburgh, but she is also a charter member of the Pittsburgh Heroine League.

On the right: Vigilanta, the scourge of the night streets. Masked in red, and garbed in a form-fitting high-tech nanosuit with blue and red striping, this hooded outlaw heroine accomplishes by darkness whatever her feisty alter-ego, Police Captain Margaret 'Peggy' Moyers, can't do in the light of day. She acts as the police liaison for the Heroine League, but also backs them up in costume with her augmented strength and energy powers.

Vigilanta is portrayed by actress Elizabeth. Catch her in previous Heroineburgh episodes as Captain Peggy, and watch her as Vigilanta in EPs 20, 21 and 23.

Vendetta is played by actress Diana. She first debuted in Heroineburgh as non-canon character 'Superia' in Customs 11, 12 and 13 (written by DeviantArt legend Brad328), and will debut as Vendetta in upcoming EP25 later this year.

Captain Peggy and Vendetta also make appearances in the issues of Heroineburgh Comics. It's all available at http://www.heroineburgh.com .

Below you can see our cover artist Jason Wright flanked by the heroines. He's the creator of the covers for issues 1 through 4, and is also a frequent colorist for DC Comics. Show him some love, too!
