Description
Happy 4th of July! In between Episode 18 shoots, we have the opportunity to show glimpses of Heroineburgh Comics issue #2 as it develops, and our artists Benjamin Zeus Barnett, wayneabrown35 and Jason Wright are hard at work on their portions of the book.
Benjamin is currently working on the first story which features African-American superheroine, Savanna the feline fury, and her first encounter
with her angry older sister Stacy, who becomes the supervillainess Panthyra. In the story, one panel re-creates the prison breakout which was depicted in Heroineburgh Episode 14...except instead of just four supervillains, it shows that six criminals actually busted loose (perhaps the
other two scrambled through the sewers) due to the efforts of the dastardly Dysphoria and Drake. (This is the foreground art with no background).
Top row: Canis the Hound, Mesmera mistress of hypnotism, and the mighty muscular Dyna. Bottom row: Devorra the Queen Bee, poisonous Chlorina, and venomous Serpenta. What kind of chaos will they cause? Issue #2 comes out in the fall!
In the meantime, order Heroineburgh Comics #1 for $9.99 postpaid from www.heroineburgh.com/comic-boo…. That's also where you can find the list of over 30 stores which carry the comic book all over North America, Canada and Israel! (and plenty of shops near us in the Pittsburgh area)
