Issue 2: Panthyra - I can feel my muscles burning!

Time to roll out some preliminary panel sketches to show what we've been working on for Heroineburgh Comics Issue #2. Artists Benjamin Zeus Barnett and Wayne Brown are creating the interiors. 

Here is a sneak peek at the second panel on Page 5 - part of the Savanna sibling rivalry story that Ben Barnett is working on for the comic. Savanna's little sister Stacy has just swallowed a small meteor fragment, filled with dark energy, given to her by boyfriend and drug dealer Cor'Von.

Within seconds, Stacy begins transforming as the dark energy mutates her cellular structure. Her glasses fall off, and she acquires new muscular definition in her arms and legs, as the seams in her shirt and jeans start to rip apart. Ben will be adding a lettered word balloon with Stacy exclaiming, "I can feel my muscles burning!"

Several panels later, Stacy has not only completed her glorious transformation into the towering amazon Panthyra...but she has also slipped into an amazing costume provided by her benefactor, Cor'Von. Find out what the supervillainess Panthyra looks like, and what she does next, when Heroineburgh Comics #2 comes out in the fall.
